Tesco ‘In-store Gram Story’

We ran this campaign twice during two separate, in-store, Baby Events at Tesco.

Our proposal was to create a vertical video that could be boosted as a ‘story’ on Instagram and Facebook. We knew that our millennial audience were active ‘story’ users and wanted to test this channel to promote Baby Event. Both videos told the story of parents coming in-store to shop during the Baby Event. These were then boosted during the Event to generate a buzz.

Helping parents in-store

With this campaign we wanted to promote how Tesco are helping parents in-store with promotions such as; free fruit for children and free babyccinos in the cafe, as well as highlighting the amazing savings in-store during the event. The campaign was a great success with over 90k views, over 200 comments and 69 shares on Facebook.

 

Summer adventures

The theme for this Baby Event was summer adventures, so our story was about two parents meeting to shop at the Event and then heading to a park for a picnic. The primary message was saving. We also had a shorter edit that went out on Facebook encouraging people to comment with how much they had saved in the Event.
